first chosen - Never Shaken

I received an email on June 8, 2023 saying that “Never Shaken” has been selected for publication in the May/June 2024 issue of The Upper Room. My heart smiled through the echoes of pain that were the background for the writing of that devotion. My hope (Hebrew “elpis” meaning expectation, faith, confidence) is that God will use this devotion of pain to encourage people to hold on to their faith in God, and never be shaken.
